TikTok, WeChat Among 59 Chinese Apps That May Face Permanent Ban in India (Tech)

While announcing the initial ban on 59 Chinese apps, the government in its June order stated that the apps were "prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, the security of the state and public order."
