WhatsApp May Soon Let Users Set 24-Hour Disappearing Messages, Here's How It Will Work (Tech)

The existing disappearing messages feature on WhatsApp essentially wipes out messages or media files after seven days (if enabled). However, this does not have any impact on the existing messages in the chat, that is, before you enable the disappearing messages option.
